About

Screens come in all shapes and sizes, and it's important to support many screen sizes. React Native makes this easy by using flexbox.

Flexbox lets you define components into groups of rows and columns, and lets you specify which components show "flex", which means they will grow to fit the available space.

It also lets you align and justify items in several different ways.

Summary of Content:

  • What Flexbox is, and where to get more information
  • Switching between row and column
  • Using flex: 1 to get a component to grow to fit available space
  • Adding more simple styles to make a more professional look
